Shooting guard Courtney Alexander had a short, three-year career in the NBA playing from the 2000-01 season to the 2002-03 season, where he averaged 9.0 points and 2.2 rebounds per game for three different teams. He was a first round pick in the 2000 draft, being selected 13th overall by the Orlando Magic. The Magic immediately traded him to the Dallas Mavericks, who traded him mid-season to the Washington Wizards. He began his high school career at Masuk High School in Monroe, before moving to Durham, N.C., where he finished at C.E. Jordan High School. He played college basketball at Virginia and Fresno State.
