Hamilton Heights stays undefeated with big victory over Western

Hamilton Heights and Western entered the Week 8 Mid-Indiana Conference match-up with perfect league records. The visiting Huskies proved their are clearly kings of the conference after a 49-7 victory in Russiaville.

Dylan Kerfoot, Tanner Stis, and Logan Cunningham were the stars in the lopsided victory.

Stis was 11-for-17, for 186 yards and four touchdowns. Cunnigham caught a pair of first quarter touchdowns while Kerfoot added a 51 yard scoring receptions to help the Huskies to a 21-0 lead after one quarter.

Hamilton Heights added three more second quarter touchdowns turning a game many expected to be close, into a blowout.

Hamilton Heights will try to cap off a perfect regular season Friday when they host Peru on Senior Night. Western falls to 6-2 overall, and 5-1 in Mid-Indiana Conference play. The Panthers travel to Lewis Cass in a game that will likely determine the second place finisher in the Mid-Indiana Conference.
