JBER Considering Demolition of 2 WWII-Era Buildings

Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson is taking public comment on the proposed demolition of Building 5303 (left) and Building 5312 (right), both built in 1944. The semi-permanent structures were designed to last 10 to 15 years, but have been modified to last longer; 5303 serves as a warehouse, while 5312 contains office space but is partially abandoned.
