Mike Leake allowed one run and three hits in four innings toboost his chances of making Cincinnati's rotation.
Leake, the eighth overall pick in last June's draft, plunkedchildhood idol Griffey with an off-speed pitch in the fourth, thenjoked he didn't know whether to say he was sorry - or not care.
It was one of the few mistakes in the first spring start for the22-year-old right-hander.
