Fund Set For Murdered Mother And Baby

A fund has been set up for the young mother and her infant daughter who were shot to death in their south Seattle home .

A warrant has been issued on two counts of first degree murder for the suspect in the murders, Daniel Thomas Hicks.

The bodies of 28 year old Jennifer Morgan and 13 week old Ema Morgan , were found in their home in the 1300 block of South Ferdinand Street Tuesday morning. Jennifer's mother, Renee, works for a local restaurant which has set up a fund for the family.

A statement from Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria reads:

Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria wishes to extend our heartfelt sympathy to our employee Renee Morgan who lost her daughter and granddaughter as a result of a horrible crime on December 22.

Out of respect we are not commenting on the circumstances of this ongoing investigation. Tutta Bella is a close-knit family of caring and compassionate team members who are supporting each other at this difficult time.

A memorial fund for the family has been set up at the Columbia City Branch of Washington Federal Savings Bank. The account is in the name of: Jennifer and Ema Morgan Memorial Fund.

Meanwhile, we ask the community to keep Renee and her family in their thoughts and prayers.
