WeatherWeather Watches

Today is the last day of summer.  We're starting out with some drizzle and bits of fog.  We'll have clearing this afternoon and top out in the mid 60s, like yesterday.  Tomorrow will be a lot like today.  But add a chance of thunderstorms in the Cascades that could waft down into the lowlands a little.  Not a lot of rain expected, so dry lightning is a possibility.  The Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch for tomorrow because it's so dry and the lightning could ignite fires on our side of the Cascades.  Sunday will start out cloudy/foggy, but by the afternoon we'll have clearing and highs in the mid-to-upper 60s.  Next week we'll have variations on the theme of:  morning clouds/fog, afternoon clearing, and highs in the mid 60s to around 70.  Welcome Fall!
