Mariners Release Milton Bradley

Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager Jack Zduriencik announced today that the Mariners have placed outfielder Milton Bradley on irrevocable waivers for the purpose of granting him his unconditional release.


Bradley, 33, had been designated for assignment on May 9.


Bradley hit .218 (22-for-101) with 6 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs and 13 RBI in 28 games with Seattle this season. In parts of two seasons (2010-2011), he hit a combined .209 (72-for-345) with 15 doubles, 2 triples, 10 home runs and 42 RBI in 101 games.
