Captured: Mark Campbell: Accused woman abuser arrested in California

Take a good look at the face of fugitive Mark Campbell — it's not going to be hard to spot this accused woman abuser on the run.

In case you're wondering the photo isn't even a mugshot, but his driver's license photo.

That may have helped police nab him. On August 22nd, Campbell was arrested by Long Beach police in California.

Police said they received a call from a citizen who reported that there was a person who appeared to be drunk, and fell in the street. When police arrived on the scene, they apprehended Campbell without incident.

He is being held without bail.

Campbell has previously been convicted of assault and is now accused of beating-up his girlfriend in a drunken rage with his fists and an oxygen tank.

The oxygen tank was his girlfriend's; U.S. Marshals said she was in bad health.

  • Closed right eye
  • Likely with long, brown hair

That domestic violence crime he's accused of happened in Federal Way and he's also lived in Ballard.
