Husky football on the rise

2010 ended with a bang for the University of Washington football team, with a late December upset over Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl. Star halfback Chris Polk returned and quarterback Keith Price emerged as a more-than-capable replacement for the departed Jake Locker as the Huskies went 7-5 and earned an Alamo Bowl birth. In November, construction began on what will be a new and improved Husky Stadium.
