Ex-Edwards Aide's Lawyers Want to See Sex Tape

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. (AP) - Attorneys for an estranged aide to John Edwards want to watch a tape purportedly showing the former presidential candidate in a sexual encounter with his pregnant mistress.

Superior Court Judge Abraham Penn Jones didn't not immediatelyrule on the request Tuesday. Attorneys for former Edwards aide

Andrew Young says they should be able to see the tape to defend himagainst a lawsuit filed by Edwards' former mistress, Rielle Hunter.

Attorneys for Hunter say she considers it "disturbing" thatsomeone else might have the chance to view the video she describesas private and personal.

Hunter has sued Young for invasion of privacy and sought thereturn of the videotape. It has been turned over to the court andplaced under seal.
