ASUS keeps setting the bar high for tablets with the Transformer Pad series. The newest among them is the Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T. A long name for one of the more high end tablets in the marketplace today. ASUS never fails to shine when it comes to design, and this tablet is no exception. This 10.1 inch tablet is sturdy without being cumbersome. It weighs less than two pounds, and is ultra slim with a thickness of only 8.5 mm.
The high resolution display on this tablet rivals even the iPad display. It has a NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, and is one of the fastest Android based tablets I’ve seen. It also comes with two cameras, which both took surprisingly good photos even in dark lighting. The rear camera also lets you record full HD videos
The one thing I was disappointed with was the below average battery life. With ongoing use, the end run time is a little over 7 hours. A far cry from the iPad. The other drawback is that there aren’t many Android apps which let you take advantage of this tablet’s higher pixel count. But, that could change with time.
At 500 dollars, this is tablet you can bring home to meet the parents
