Bing went live in June, and it's grabbing a lot of headlines.
Compete.com released statistics which show Bing is now the 13th most visited site on the web, with about 50 million visitors in its first month.
It now trumps the traffic of Digg, Twitter, and CNN in the US.
And it will probably only grow more. Bing is coming to Hotmail which is by far the largest web mail provider with 343 million monthly users. That should make Bing's position stronger.
But, it's still got a long way to go before it can begin to challenge Google's top position in search. Recent industry reports sat Google accounts for nearly 70% of all web searches.
And if you want to have the best of both worlds this website allows you to search both Bing and Google at the same time.Copyright © 2014, Los Angeles Times
