The Good News

Death of Osama bin Laden (2011)Republican PartyAnwar al-Awlaki

It’s been an exciting year so far for NewsFix not only because of our launch, which is redefining the way people watch news, but because of the news itself! A heck of a lot of it has been bad, but you know, there's been a heck of a lot of good news too!

The release of the West Memphis 3 and the 2 American hikers held captive in Iran.  The release of American Amanda Knox from an Italian prison after having her murder conviction overturned. Then of course the killing of Osama bin Laden, Anwar Al Awlaki, the overthrow of dictators in Tunisia, Egypt and most recently the killing of Mohammar Gadhaffi!  Did I leave anything out? It wouldn't surprise me.  We had an Arab spring, a wildfire summer in Texas, with a Libyan dictator fall. It's an exciting time for the future of the Middle East.  Many have won their revolution and now anxiously wait to see what new government or regime rises to assume power. Although it appears radical Islamic law could be on the horizon in Libya, we'll have to see how that goes.

One thing is for sure in the U.S. democrats and republicans will continue to battle and GOP presidential hopefuls will bicker! So the forecast for this winter looks chilly, with a slight chance of resolution to our country’s economic woes frozen solid with gridlock in Washington!

And we'll tell you all about it, right here on NewsFix!
