In Britain, kids as young as 3-years-old are being branded as "racist", and "homophobic".

Over 30,000 British schoolchildren have had their names registered on a government database for what are being called "hate crimes" on the playground.

According to the Daily Mail, one child was accused of being racist after calling a boy "broccoli head" and another was labeled homophobic for telling a teacher "this work is gay".

Schools are forced to report the language to education officials, which then enter them into a government database. 34,000 incidents of "racism" in total were reported for the year 2009-2010. The majority of the cases reported were involving elementary school children.

"The record can be passed from primaries to secondaries or when a pupil moves between schools," reports the Daily Mail.

"And if schools are asked for a pupil reference by a future employer or a university, the record could be used as the basis for it, meaning the pettiest of incidents has the potential to blight a child for life."

What do you think about the "branding"?

Viewers serve up their thoughts on Facebook:

Courtney writes: "That is so ridiculous!! Toddlers are the most innocent of children and should be taught to accept everyone!! SMH!!"

Freddie writes: "I don't know about this, why in the world would a parent,or a group of parent's,teach this to children anyways?"
