Rachel Bilson stars as Zoe Hart in The CW's new series "Hart of Dixie," a fish-out-of-water story about a New York City doctor adjusting to life in a small Southern town after she inherits a local medical practice.

Bilson is enjoying a successful and continually developing acting career on both big and small screens. In addition to her new television series, she also recently wrapped the independent film "L!fe Happens," with Kate Bosworth, as well as the independent comedy "The To Do List," opposite Bill Hader and Scott Porter.

Other past film credits include starring as the female lead in "Waiting for Forever" as well as in "Jumper" for 20th Century Fox Studios, "The Last Kiss," with Zach Braff and directed by Tony Goldwyn for Paramount, and opposite Andy Garcia in a film comprised of a series of shorts called "New York, I Love You." Bilson has additionally appeared twice as a guest star on the television series "How I Met Your Mother" as well as Josh Schwartz's "Chuck."

In 2008, Bilson released her own clothing line called Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans. Currently in stores, Bilson designed a line of house ware products for Macy's called Edie Rose Home

Bilson also became an integral part of pop culture due to her series regular role on the very popular television show "The O.C." for four seasons.

She also had guest-starring roles in television series such as "That ‘70s Show," "Mad TV," "8 Simple Rules" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

Bilson currently lives in Los Angeles, where she was also raised.
