Tyler Overstreet named Glendale head football coach

SPRINGFIELD, MO - Springfield Public Schools has hired Tyler Overstreet as head football coach at Glendale High School.

Overstreet is currently employed by Logan-Rogersville School District as an offensive coordinator for the varsity football team and a history and physical education teacher.  He has also worked for Springfield Catholic High School as assistant baseball coach and Nixa School District as an assistant football coach.  

Overstreet is a graduate of Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in secondary social studies. He obtained his master’s in education administration from Lindenwood University.

Overstreet’s employment, which is pending final approval by the school board, will begin with the 2012-2013 school year.
