SAN DIEGO - Two suspects accused of fatality shooting a developmentally disabled 21-year-old man riding a bicycle nearly a year ago was arrested, according to deputies.

Accused killers, 21-year-old Juan Ignacio Gomez and 19-year-old Humberto Emanuel Galvez, were taken into custody at midnight in Chula Vista, San Diego Sheriff's Department announced Thursday afternoon.

Jordan Michael Hickey was shot to death on Grove Street behind a strip mall just north of Sweetwater Road in unincorporated Lincoln Acres in April 29, 2011, police said.  Hickey was on his way home when he was shot.

Hickey's mother Jeannine said he didn't drive because of some developmental disabilities.  The news of the arrest has filled her with anger.

“Somebody ripped this wonderful human being away from me.  The anger hasn’t stopped," she said.

Sheriffs attributed Fox 5's San Diego's Most Wanted show in helping spread the message about the investigation in recent weeks.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Homicide Detail at 858-974- 2321 or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
