Brad Wills - Weekend Weather/Weeknight Reporter

Brad was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, but has always been a beach bum at heart.

Touring the beach volleyball circuit during his late teens/early 20's kept him traveling to the beach dreaming of the day when he could settle down in SD.  So, in the quest of getting to San Diego, he moved west, well as far west as you can get in Arizona...YUMA!  Brad's last five years were spent in Yuma at KYMA, the NBC affiliate as their main weather anchor and special event "go to guy".

Although animals and fire department charities are closest to his heart, he received numerous awards for his charitable work in other areas too. In 2006, Brad was awarded with the American Red Cross "REAL HERO AWARD" for organizing a two-day fundraiser that raised over $140,000 for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Brad's passion for weather started at the age of 12 when his house was struck by lightning, which scared him right in to wanting to become a weatherman.

On his way to reaching this dream, Brad began hosting his high school television announcements, graduating to a radio DJ, then moving behind the scenes as a news floor director, while teaching himself everything he needed to know about presenting weather to the public at Fox 10 in Phoenix.  After loads of studying, he successfully gained his NWA seal in 2008.

Weather is not his only passion, on any given day (rain or shine) you can catch him playing with his three dogs (Chloe the Boxer, Bogey the Pug, and Francis the hairy Pug), washing his car, lounging on the beach, and listening to 80's tunes or watching the likes of "The Breakfast Club."  His happiest times are raising his two children to think the 80's are as AWESOME as he does and his torturing his wife while he does it!

If your life needs to be saved, Brad's your guy.  Brad has his EMT certification.
