The King family said their emergency efforts to keep documents sealed stemmed fromthe media's efforts to obtain them.

Judge David Danielsen met with attorneys from all sides behind closeddoors, then set a hearing for Thursday afternoon.

According to a statement released by the King family today, attorney PatSwan will "advocate for suppression of certain documents under victims'rights statutes.''

"This action has become necessary in response by some media outlets toobtain the release of all records related to Chelsea's death, which runscounter to the King's family's wishes to honor their daughter's memory, and toallow the community to heal,'' the statement read.
