Susan Lennon joined Fox 5 San Diego in August of 2008 as the weekend anchor of the Fox 5 News at Ten.

In her career as a journalist Lennon has traveled extensively around the world. While working for NBC in Houston she won awards for her stories on peacekeeping missions in Bosnia and Kuwait. As a correspondent Lennon filed stories from the Red Cross camps in Macedonia during the Albanian refugee crisis. Lennon's extensive coverage of our military operations, including reports from the USS Nimitz in the Arabian gulf led to an invitation to co host the Montel Willaims show to salute our service members.
While working as a reporter at KPRC in Houston, Lennon was awarded 'Street Reporter of the Year' for her coverage of breaking news in the community.

Susan has been an active member of our community involved in many charities and was awarded a regional Emmy award for her work hosting and reporting for "The Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon."  On December 15, 2006, San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders declared "Susan Lennon Day" in San Diego.

Ms. Lennon received her B.A in Journalism with honors from Menlo College and later completed the Graduate Studies Journalism Program at Stanford University

Susan lives in Del Mar where you will often see her surfing, boogie boarding and running on the beach with her two sons. Susan loves to help at her son's school, teaching the kids to read.
