Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and Saurai Chef Cooking Competition.

ONYX Chef Masa Shimakawa and ONYX Manager Vincent Tsai match knives in the Second Annual Samurai Chef Japanese Cooking Competition at ONYX Restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, California.

When: May 24-June 2, 2012

For ten nights, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, guests dining in ONYX at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village can watch and participate in the judging as the two chefs go head-to-head in a friendly competition of creativity and technique, with a different secret ingredient announced each night.
In addition to the competition, a special menu of Chef Sawada's signature dishes from Shintaro is presented along with Chef Masa's modern Japanese cuisine and inventive sushi options at ONYX.

ONYX serves dinner Monday through Saturday nights from 5:30 to 9:30 pm.
