Cheryl Getuiza is thrilled to be back in her home state of California.

Cheryl started at KTLA in January 2010. She moved from Orlando, Florida where she spent 3 years at WOFL. There she covered an array of stories, including ones that made national headlines. She appeared on FOX NEWS reporting the latest information on mudered 2 year old Caylee Anthony as well as the trial for former NASA astronaut Lisa Nowak who faced attempted murder charges in a so called love triangle.

Before that, Cheryl enjoyed the bright lights of Sin City, Las Vegas, Nevada where she reported for KTNV for 3 years. She also spent a year as ra eporter/anchor for KOBI in Medford, Oregon. She got her start in Carlsbad, Ca., reporting for KDCI, CNN's Local Headline News.

When she's not at work, Cheryl enjoys hiking at Griffith Park, going to the beach, spending time with her husband and two incredible dogs, and rooting on her two favorite sports teams, the San Francisco 49ers and the Giants!!

She's a member of the Asian American Journalists Association.

Cheryl is native of San Francisco. But she's happy to call Los Angeles her new home where she's closer to family and friends.
