EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (KTLA) -- A soccer coach from the South Bay was arrested for alleged lewd acts with a 15-year-old girl, and police say there could be more victims.

David Tinoco, 50, was arrested at Recreation Park on Main Street in El Segundo, just about a block away from the El Segundo Police Station. He has since been released on bond.

Police say that the victim reported the alleged assault to El Segundo police. Detectives then worked with the girl, who arranged to meet Tinaco at the park.

"She's definitely a very strong-willed 15-year-old. Normally, people facing similar circumstances might not even report it," said Lt. Raymond Garcia.

Police think that there may be additional victims, because part of his job was to be in direct contact with young people.

In addition, authorities say that Tinoco is involved in various churches and community groups.

"Our suspect is also active on social media, so we urge parents who have had contact with them to check their children's Facebook accounts to see if he's been friends with them," Garcia said.

Anyone with information is asked to call El Segundo police at (310) 524-2284.
