LOS ANGELES -- A naked man is in police custody after climbing a radio tower near Downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The 45-year old Arizona man took off his clothes as he climbed up the tower shortly after 4 p.m.

Hours later, around 9 p.m., police climbed up the tower and convinced the man to come down.

Police were able to lure him down with McDonald's hamburgers.

At one point, police sources said, he asked for hamburgers from McDonald's.

Officials complied, and he agreed to come down after eating his meal.

He was taken to County-USC Medical Center for evaluation.

The 220-foot tower is located on city property in the 700 block of East Temple Street.
