KTLA is not available 24/7 in all areas of the United States. We cannot force cable companies or satellite providers outside our Designated Market Area (DMA) to carry our signal. Some of the areas outside our DMA which may not get our programming include such areas as Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Bakersfield, Barstow, Yucca Valley, Palm Springs, Palm Desert, and San Diego.

This is the information we have at this time. It can change without notice. Always contact your cable or satellite provider for questions about your service. Also go to www.cwtv.com and click on stations to locate the CW provider in your area.

Direct TV has retransmission consent only to carry KTLA in the Los Angeles DMA. Direct TV could carry KTLA nationwide as a superstation, but they've chosen not to. It is their decision, not ours. KTLA is not available on Direct TV in San Diego. Direct TV in the Los Angeles area may be on channel 944. KTLA is not available on Direct TV in all areas. Visit www.directtv.com and click on local channels and enter your zip code to see if we are available in your area. Please note: KTLA does not issue satellite waivers.

Dish Net does carry KTLA nationwide as a superstation (as part of a package that has a monthly fee). Dish Network in Los Angeles area may be on channel 8004. KTLA is not available on the Dish Network in all areas. Visit www.dishnetwork.com and plug in your address to see if we are available in your area.

Visit www.charter.com for more details about your area and for Channel 25 program listings or call 1-888-438-2427 for customer service.

Santa Barbara area: Cox Cable informed KTLA, after it had already made its decision, that it was removing KTLA's newscasts from channel 19 as of March 1, 2012. We had no input into the matter. If subscribers to Cox are unhappy with the decision, they should make their views known to the cable company, preferably in writing, and ask them to put KTLA back on. They can also communicate with their friends and neighbors (and Cox) via social media if they are so inclined. You can also contact your public officials who grant a franchise to the cable company and let them know you are unahppy.
