Rebecca Hall is a news reporter for KTLA. She also is the anchor for Weekend Sports Final.
She brings her versatility to Southern California from the east coast, where she served as an anchor and reporter for WTVD-TV in Raleigh, NC.
While in Raleigh, Rebecca traveled across the country covering many major stories. She followed President Obama, Hillary Clinton and John Edwards on the campaign trail during the 2008 Presidential Election. Rebecca has been in the middle of numerous hurricanes and tropical storms from the coast of North Carolina to the coast of New Orleans, frequently providing continuous live reports for ABC News, CNN and the Weather Channel. She also reported from a C-17 jet during the military's very first relief drop mission following the devastating earthquake in Haiti. Rebecca has also covered numerous entertainment stories, from the popular 'Dancing with the Stars' show right here in L.A to the Country Music Awards in Nashville, TN. She has also covered several NCAA Final Four Tournaments.
Prior to working at WTVD-TV, Rebecca worked in upstate New York as a news and sports anchor for WXXA-TV and WNYT-TV in Albany. Rebecca has also worked at WNBC-TV in New York City, and WXIA-TV in Atlanta, Georgia; she began her career at WKTV-TV in Utica, New York.
Rebecca attended The University of Georgia on a full academic scholarship. She graduated with degrees in Broadcast News and Sociology. While in college, Rebecca served as a football anchor/analyst for the live weekly football show "Georgia Gameday."
Raised near Atlanta but born in Michigan, Rebecca is a huge Wolverines fan, and she lives for college football season! In her free time, she enjoys traveling anywhere and everywhere, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.Copyright © 2014, Los Angeles Times
