SACRAMENTO (KTLA) -- Sacramento Kings fans are hoping their NBA team won't leave town. The NBA has confirmed the team is in talks to move to the Honda Center in Anaheim.
Sacramento fans are buying up tickets, hoping to sell out next week's home game against the Clippers.
Eight billboards have been put up around town in hopes of keeping the team in Sacramento.
Kings fans have also launched an online campaign using Twitter and Facebook.
The team has until March 1 to file for relocation.
NBA Commissioner David Stern said on Saturday that he's no longer trying to keep the team in Sacramento.
But owners Joe and Gavin Maloof have remained mum about their intentions.
Ducks owner Henry Samueli has reportedly offered a $100-million loan to cover money owed by the Kings to Sacramento and relocation costs.Copyright © 2014, Los Angeles Times
