LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- "No Way Out" actress Sean Young was arrested Sunday night after an altercation while trying to get into an Oscars party, police said.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hollywood & Highland Center, where both the awards and the Governor's Ball after-party were held.

Young, 52, was involved in a "physical altercation," according to police.

She was placed under citizen's arrest by the person she was fighting with, reportedly a security guard at the ball.

Young was later taken to the LAPD's Hollywood division and booked on suspicion of misdemeanor battery.

She was released on $20,000 bail around 3 a.m.

A court date has been set for March 19.

Young previously entered treatment for alcoholism after an outburst at the Director's Guild of America Awards in 2008.

Her reps said at the time that Young had struggled with alcoholism for years.

A subsequent stint in rehab in 2011 was depicted on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.

It's not clear if she was under the influence Sunday night.

Some of Young's film credits include "Blade Runner," "Dune," "Ace Ventura" and "Wall Street."
