A clerk at Domino's Pizza was shot during an attempted robbery Monday night.

Sheriff's deputies received a call shortly after 8:30 p.m. A white male, wearing a mask, a grey sweater and black pants, tried to rob the Domino's Pizza on Fair Oaks Boulevard.

Jason Ramos, a spokesman for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, said the suspect fired a shot at the clerk and fled on foot. The clerk received a very minor, non-life threatening injury to the upper body.

Deputies have not found the suspect.
