A former substitute teacher from George Kelly Elementary School in Tracy will spend one year in jail after touching several female students.

The Stockton Record reports 39-year-old Jesse Llorente III touched and massaged several young girls between the agse of 10 and 12 sometime in February, according to San Joaquin County District Attorney Elton Grau.

The students described Llorente's actions as "weird" and "icky," but never accused the teacher of touching their genital areas. Llorete admitted to touching and flirting with the girls during court proceedings, the Record reports.

District Attorney Grau said Llorente wrote a letter of apology to the judge apologizing for his behavior, and could be released after serving just over 270 days in custody.
