The more than 10,000 fans attending the River Cats exhibition game against the Oakland A’s had sunshine for most of the game Saturday, but storm clouds later brought rain.

Before inclement weather forced umpires to call the game, Tommy Milone threw six perfect innings against the River Cats, leading the A’s to a 9-0 victory.

The River Cats open the 2012 season on the road in Las Vegas on April 5. They return to Raley Field for their home opener on April 13 at 7:05 p.m. against the Reno Aces.
