Marijuana TV: In the Oct. 7 Section A, an article about plans to create a TV channel devoted to marijuana referred to Michele Ross as a “self-professed pot doctor.” Ross has a PhD in neuroscience.

Car opera: In the Oct. 8 Calendar section, an article about “Hopscotch,” the opera performed in moving cars, included a general Southern California Institute of Architecture address for the viewing “hub” on campus. A more accurate location for the hub entrance is 350 Merrick St., Los Angeles.

One Bunker Hill: In the Oct. 8 Business section, an article about the sale of the One Bunker Hill office building said that one of the buyers, Hermes Investment of London, was a former owner of PacMutual center in Los Angeles. Hermes was not an owner of PacMutual.

Pacific trade agreement: In the Oct. 6 Section A, an article about the conclusion of the Trans-Pacific Partnership said that the U.S. already has free-trade agreements with seven of the 11 trading partners in the pact. In fact, the U.S. has agreements with six other Trans-Pacific Partnership nations.

Dave Pike obituary: In the Oct. 9 California section, the obituary of jazz musician Dave Pike misspelled the last name of pianist Tom Ranier as Rainier.

Nobel in chemistry: In the Oct. 8 Section A, an article about the three scientists awarded the 2015 Nobel Prize in chemistry for their work on DNA referred to its building blocks — adenine, guanine, thymine and cytosine — as nucleotides. They are nucleic acid bases, and they combine with sugar and phosphoric acid to form nucleotides.
