Proposition 55: In the Oct. 10 California section, an article about Proposition 55, which would extend a higher tax rate for the state’s highest earners, said that if the measure passes, Paul Taybi plans to raise rents in the four Bay Area apartment complexes he owns. Taybi’s four rentals are single-family residences.

Dodgers-Cubs: In the Oct. 16 Sports section, the View from Chicago article about Game 1 of the National League Championship Series said Cubs pitcher Jon Lester gave up a home run to Joc Pederson. The home run was hit by Andre Ethier.

Vin Scully: In the Oct. 15 Sports section, an article about Vin Scully’s retirement said the broadcaster was 87. He is 88.
