7-Eleven stores are like glowing beacons when the late-night munchies hit. The convenience store is stocked with Big Gulp cups, Slurpees, any chip flavor you could dream of and those glistening, rotating hot dogs. But what if you could walk in at midnight and grab a quick grain salad and a cold-pressed juice instead?

7-Eleven is testing a quinoa salad, cold-pressed juices and more healthful food co-developed by P90X fitness program creator Tony Horton. 7-Eleven Tony Horton Kitchen products include a spicy quinoa salad with chimichurri dressing and cold-pressed juice flavors that include celery, apple, cucumber, spinach, kale, romaine lettuce, lime, lemon, wheat grass, clover sprouts and more.

“By teaming with Tony Horton Kitchen, we want people to think of 7-Eleven for healthy options when they are on the go,” Kelly Buckley, the company’s vice president of fresh food and beverage innovation and manufacturing, said in a statement.

Stores are also selling a grilled chicken sandwich with blueberry mustard and a stacked roasted turkey breast sandwich, both on whole-grain bread, as well as a curried chicken salad with pomegranate raita dressing. Wraps include roasted turkey breast with chipotle black bean hummus and a spicy black bean hummus and vegetable.

The sandwiches, salads and wraps are made by a company called Fresh Grill in Santa Ana and contain an average of 360 calories. A 16-ounce bottle of cold-pressed juice will cost $4.99; prices for the food items will range from $4.75 to $6.50.

“These salads, sandwiches, wraps and juices are for customers who are looking for healthier options on the go,” Horton said in a statement. “I truly believe that this joint venture between Tony Horton Kitchen and 7-Eleven can be a tipping point to improve America’s health.”

The Tony Horton Kitchen foods are now available at 104 7-Eleven locations in Los Angeles. Previously, the products were only available through home delivery.
