Britney Spears and Charlie Ebersol have split, reports say
Britney Spears and writer-producer Charlie Ebersol have reportedly called it quits.
Oops, she did it again: It’s over for Britney Spears and producer Charlie Ebersol, according to several reports out Monday.
The pop star and the producer of “The Profit” have called it quits after eight months of dating, Us Weekly and People said, giving no reason for the end of the romance.
Reps for both Spears and Ebersol did not immediately respond to The Times’ requests for confirmation.
Spears, 33, had been linked to the son of “Saturday Night Live” co-creator Dick Ebersol since October after being introduced to him through mutual friends, E! News said. She confirmed the relationship on “Britney Day” in Las Vegas last November.
The twosome spent quite a bit of time with Spears’ two sons and last stepped out together in May at the Billboard Music Awards, where she performed her “Pretty Girls” duet with rapper Iggy Azalea.
The singer-turned-lingerie designer chronicled aspects of their relationship on social media, but several of their photos have since been removed from her Instagram account. Their romance came on the heels of her bitter breakup with David Lucado after a cheating video surfaced last August.
