Freida Pinto and Dev Patel have reportedly broken up

Freida Pinto and Dev Patel have reportedly broken up after dating for almost six years.

The actors, who met while costarring in 2008’s “Slumdog Millionaire,” have been “done for a while,” a source told Us Weekly.

Pinto is already being set up by friends, another source said.

Patel, who is six years younger than his 30-year-old ex, said years ago that he and the “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” actress were “soul mates.” That happened before they even started dating.

Pinto’s “Desert Dancer” is set to hit big screens in April. Patel’s HBO series “The Newsroom” -- which this season has seen his character on the run after getting caught up in a leak of government secrets -- has its series finale Sunday.
