Who performed ‘Royals’ best — Lorde, Springsteen or Puddles the Clown? You decide

In our recent profile of and "interview" with Puddles the Clown (read the feature to know what we mean by the quotation marks), Gerrick Kennedy explained that "the 'sad clown with the golden voice' [...] catapulted to Internet fame after his loungey cover of Lorde's 'Royals' (performed with New York ensemble Postmodern Jukebox) went viral last year."

Puddles the Clown's version of "Royals" has already been viewed more than 10 million times on YouTube, with some listeners commenting that they can't stop pressing play and others saying that they prefer this old-timey, slightly spooky arrangement (originally released by Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox to celebrate Halloween, 2013) "to other versions."

But do these other versions perhaps include song composer Lorde's, or even Bruce Springsteen's, surprising live version live in Auckland, New Zealand in 2014?

We decided to set up a little survey and ask our readers who they think performed "Royals" best. In the interest of fairness, since Puddles recorded his version live in a single take, and The Boss played it live in concert, we chose a live performance by Lorde rather than the studio master.
