'Twilight' mastermind misses out on top honor

You'd think the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ENMV000153" title="Twilight (movie)" href="/topic/entertainment/movies/twilight-%28movie%29-ENMV000153.topic">"Twilight"</a> Movie Awards show would include author/creator <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PECLB0004413" title="Stephenie Meyer" href="/topic/arts-culture/literature/stephenie-meyer-PECLB0004413.topic">Stephenie Meyer</a>, but she missed out on all the accolades, including the one for Best Movie (that's director Catherine Hardwicke and friends taking it all in). Whether it was a scheduling conflict or oversight, we call shenanigans. The <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="EVHST000005" title="Academy Awards" href="/topic/entertainment/movies/academy-awards-EVHST000005.topic">Oscars</a> surely won't give you this much love, Steph.

You'd think the "Twilight" Movie Awards show would include author/creator Stephenie Meyer, but she missed out on all the accolades, including the one for Best Movie (that's director Catherine Hardwicke and friends taking it all in). Whether it was a scheduling conflict or oversight, we call shenanigans. The Oscars surely won't give you this much love, Steph.
