Afghanistan explosives

Near the village of Guli Kala, Afzal, age 40, moves through a firing range to collect brush used for cooking fires. He knows the danger but says he needs the fuel. As U.S. military bases are being closed around Afghanistan, one of the concerns is unexploded ordnance left at firing ranges. One of the ranges close to Bagram air base, which is still active, has been the site of accidents.
