Hot Property: J Lo puts her work-at-home estate in Hidden Hills on the market

Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez has put her work-live estate in the gated equestrian community of Hidden Hills up for sale at $17 million.

The more than three-acre spread centers on a 17,129-square-foot mansion with views of the San Gabriel Mountains and the cityscape.

The listing details describe the 1990s Traditional-style home as a “perfect fit for the working entertainer.” A breezeway connects the main living areas to a separate wing for work or entertaining.

Inside the main part of the mansion are formal and informal living rooms, a dining room that can seat 12 and a master suite with a sitting area and private balcony for a total of nine bedrooms and 13 bathrooms.

A recording studio, a dance studio/gym, a 20-seat theater, a saloon/lounge with a bar and nanny’s quarters make up the work/entertainment wing.

Lopez, 45, has extensive film credits, including starring roles in this year’s “The Boy Next Door” and “Lila & Eve” and the 1997 movie “Selena.”

Her eight studio albums include her 1999 debut album “On the 6” and her most recent “A.K.A.,” released last year.

The property was purchased in 2009 for $8.2 million.

‘Odd’ man out of Malibu home

Actor Matthew Perry of the 2015 series “The Odd Couple” has sold his modern retreat in Malibu for $10.65 million.

The updated contemporary, built in 1981, has views of the coastline and Malibu Pier from its 2.5-acre hillside perch in gated Serra Retreat. The interior features walls of glass, window alcoves and telescoping doors that open to a large deck.

A living room with a fireplace, a family room, a game room and a home theater are among the living spaces in the open-plan house.

The top-floor master suite includes dual bathrooms and a seating area with a fireplace for a total of four bedrooms and six baths.

Outdoors there’s a swimming pool with a spa, a fire pit and meditation garden.

Perry, 45, rose to fame for his decade-long role as Chandler Bing in the sitcom “Friends.” In addition to playing Oscar Madison in the new CBS series “The Odd Couple,” he appears this year in the series “Web Therapy,” which stars his “Friends” cast mate Lisa Kudrow.

Records show that Perry bought the property in 2005 for $6.55 million.

Brentwood spot has celeb appeal

Tobey Maguire of the “Spider-Man” movies has listed his house in Brentwood at $10.25 million after about a year of ownership. He purchased the plantation-style home from TV host Ricki Lake for $8.45 million. Former owners include actors David Arquette and Courteney Cox.

The John Byers-designed home, built in 1949, sits behind gates on a flat three-quarter-acre lot with a covered outdoor living room and a flagstone-surrounded swimming pool and spa.

Features of the rambling home include wood-beamed ceilings, skylights, French doors and four fireplaces. The 6,320 square feet of living space contains living, dining and great rooms, a den, a library/study and a sauna.

There’s an upstairs guest suite with its own entrance for a total of six bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. In the master suite a sitting room overlooks the grounds.

Maguire, 39, has starred in such films as “The Great Gatsby” (2013), “Seabiscuit” (2003) and “The Cider House Rules” (1999). More recently he has produced the upcoming films “Z for Zachariah” and “The Fifth Wave.”

Shedding house with character

Jesse Metcalfe of “Desperate Housewives” fame and actress Cara Santana are ready to part with a house in Hollywood Hills West for $1.995 million.

The Spanish-style Mediterranean, built in 1925, retains its classic details but has been updated with high-end finishes in keeping with the original architecture.

A covered terrace and ornate double door lead inside, where a grand fireplace with tile accents creates a focal point in the living room. Interior arches, arched windows, wood and tile floors, beamed ceilings and wrought-iron work continue the 1920s vibe.

A formal dining room, a den/office, a renovated kitchen, four bedrooms and five bathrooms are contained in the 2,362 square feet of living space.

Santana, 30, will be in the upcoming horror film “Reunion.” She was in the 2010 series “DialStar.”

The property was purchased in late 2012 for $1,432,500.

Perhaps house no longer suits

Actors Gabriel Macht and Jacinda Barrett have listed a house in Los Feliz at $1.998 million.

The renovated 1931 Spanish-style house has light and bright interiors and vaulted beamed ceilings.

The oversized living room features a double-height ceiling, a fireplace and a large picture window with downtown skyline views. The separate media room, one of three bedrooms, has a Moroccan-style bath for a total of three bathrooms.

Outside, a pathway leads to a brick-covered patio. There are two decks, mature landscaping, an outdoor shower and lawn.

The property, purchased in 2002 for $849,000, has been leased out in recent years for $6,600 to $6,800 a month, property records show.

Macht, 43, has starred on the USA Network comedy drama “Suits” since 2011. He has been in such films as “Love & Other Drugs” (2010), “Whiteout” (2009) and “The Spirit” (2008).

Barrett, 42, was also on “Suits” in 2012-13. She’ll appear in the 2015 series “Bloodline” and was in “The Following” (2014) and “Zero Hour” (2013).

‘Mom’s’ homey spot in Studio City

Allison Janney, who stars in the CBS show “Mom,” has put her house in Studio City up for sale at $1.495 million.

The Traditional-style home sits on more than half an acre of grounds with mature trees, a solar-heated swimming pool and a covered outdoor dining area. A stone path leads up to a tiki bar-inspired lounge and viewing deck that take in the mountains and surrounding greenery.

The 1,925 square feet of interior space includes a living/family room with a fireplace, a dining room, an updated kitchen with stainless-steel appliances and an island, and a bonus office area. The master suite has a vaulted wood-beam ceiling and claw-foot tub for a total of three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Janney, 55, starred as the White House press secretary on “The West Wing” from 1999 to 2006. Since then she has been seen in “Masters of Sex” (2013-14) and “Mr. Sunshine” (2011).

She bought the Studio City property in 2001 for $799,000.
