Sexy Bird Streets contemporary makes a fashionable return to market
A Hollywood Hills West home designed by Bradley Bayou, a couture fashion and interior designer, is back up for sale in Hollywood Hills West at $11.55 million.
Set atop a knoll in the Bird Streets neighborhood, the two-story contemporary blends sleek architectural details with a range of high-end materials. Among features are bush-hammered limestone floors, hand-cut stone walls and retractable walls of glass. In the master suite, black artistic tile lines a two-way fireplace for a subdued look.
Also within more than 7,300 square feet of interior is a living room with a fireplace, an open-plan kitchen and family room, a screening room, five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. Most of the common rooms open to an outside lounge and an infinity-edge pool with a 10-person spa.
The home, built in 2015, sits on slightly more than a third of an acre. Also on the property is a Zen-style garden and a yoga deck. There is subterranean parking for up to six vehicles.
The property originally hit the market three years ago for $21.85 million, records show. More recently it was listed at $12.85 million.

Bayou got his start in fashion in the 1990s by hand-painting vests in acrylic and selling them to stores such s Fred Segal and Neiman Marcus. He later debuted a line of painted and beaded gowns that gained a following among Hollywood stars including Halle Berry, Geena Davis and Oprah Winfrey.
He launched an interior design and development firm, Bradley Bayou Design, in 2010.
