Chris Mills, the former Fairfax High School basketball star who played 10 seasons in the NBA, has put his home court in Tarzana up for sale at $4.499 million.

The double-gated compound in Mulholland Park Estates sits on about three-quarters of an acre with a Mediterranean-style main house, a two-bedroom guest house and a swimming pool and spa. Two garages and a wide motorcade with a fountain can accommodate as many as 18 vehicles.

Tall stone pillars flank the 15-foot entry to the home, built in 2003. Within nearly 6,500 square feet of space are formal living and dining rooms, a library, a ballroom, a game room with a slate pool table and a media room. A grand mezzanine embellished in wrought iron overlooks the family and dining rooms.

The master suite features such lavish details as a large soaking tub, frameless showers and canyon views. There are five bedrooms and six bathrooms in all.

Outdoors, the palm-topped setting centers on a swimming pool with a raised spa. Adjacent to the pool are fountain features, a pavilion and a built-in barbecue and wet bar.

Mills, 45, was a first-round draft choice out of University of Arizona in 1993. He averaged 11.2 ppg and 4.6 rpg for his career, playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors.

He bought the house in 2005 for $2.425 million, public records show.

Jahmall Ellis of Sotheby’s International Realty is the listing agent.
