Former Angels pitcher C.J. Wilson sells Beverly Crest contemporary for $16 million
C.J. Wilson, the baseball pitcher turned auto racing team owner, has sold a contemporary mansion in Beverly Crest for $16 million.
Set on more than three acres of grounds, the house was built in 2016 and entered the market that year at $25 million, records show. More recently it was listed for $19.995 million.
Clean lines, walls of glass and multiple water features set the stage for the multilevel house, which has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and roughly 10,000 square feet of living space. Among living spaces is a chef’s kitchen with smokeless hibachi grills and a master suite with two walk-in closets and a private terrace. A large skylight tops an indoor atrium.
The grounds are set up for entertaining with multiple patios, fire pits, a built-in barbecue and an infinity-edge pool and spa. Elsewhere on the property is a four-car garage.

Wilson, 37, spent seven seasons with the Texas Rangers before joining the Los Angeles Angeles as a free agent in 2011. The two-time all-star compiled a 51-35 record in four seasons for the Halos.
He is the owner of CJ Wilson Racing.
