Stuntman Dick Ziker lists Studio City home for sale

Stuntman Dick Ziker, who hung from a helicopter in “Scarface,” has listed his longtime home in Studio City for sale at $1.399 million.

The interiors of the one-story house, built in 1929, draw from Ziker’s affinity for “The Hobbit” books and are adorned with custom woodwork and stained glass windows. The self-contained guest quarters above the garage evoke an old Western movie set with a railing from an 1800s altar.

Nearly 3,000 square feet of living space includes living, dining and great rooms, a library/study, an office, a bonus room, five bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The hillside house has views of the mountains and the cityscape below.

Ziker has been a stunt performer or coordinator for five decades, crashing cars and taking spills on such films as “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” (1991), “Total Recall” (1990) and “Star Trek V: The Final Frontier” (1989). Among stars the Emmy and Oscar winner has doubled for are Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Mike Connors.

Patti Jordan Harris of Keller Williams is the listing agent.
