Jim Buss, a part-owner of the Lakers and former team executive, has put his penthouse in downtown Los Angeles back on the market for $6.75 million. That’s about 2 million less than when he first put the 4,300-square-foot unit up for sale two years ago, records show.

Located within the Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. Live, where budding Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball now lives, the southeast-corner unit includes open-plan living and dining rooms, an office/den and a formal entry. The kitchen has been remodeled and features Gaggenau appliances and custom fixtures.

There are three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one half bath. The master suite opens to a separate sitting room.

Floor-to-ceiling windows take in city-to-coastline views in nearly every room. A pair of parking spaces are included with the unit.

A rooftop swimming pool, a fitness center and valet and concierge services are among building amenities.

Buss, 58, bought the penthouse in 2013 for $4.05 million. His other real estate holdings include a number of developments in the Monarch Bay area of Dana Point.

The son of late businessman and Lakers majority owner Jerry Buss, Buss previously held the title of executive vice president of basketball operations for the Lakers. He was relieved of his duties last year as part of an organizational shakeup that included the departure of longtime general manager Mitch Kupchak and the appointment of Magic Johnson as the team’s president of basketball operations.

Josh and Matt Altman of Douglas Elliman hold the listing.
