Producer Marshall Lewy gets asking price and more for Los Feliz estate

Share

Marshall Lewy’s Los Feliz estate is staying in the television industry family.

The “Project Greenlight” producer in November sold the five-bedroom home to “Girls” writer-producer Murray Miller. The sale price was $2.825 million, or $125,000 more than the asking price.

A brick walkway approaches the wide front of the cream-colored home, which has sets of picture windows framed by mint-colored shutters and pillars wrapped in creeping ivy.

Inside, hardwood floors line the 3,674 square feet of interior space. French doors and custom built-ins are among the interior details. The center-island kitchen holds white cabinetry and built-in seating, and the adjacent dining room opens up to an outdoor brick patio with a pergola and fireplace.

Outside, a pool and spa are set among landscaped gardens.

The upstairs master suite, which holds a walk-in closet and freestanding tub, offers mountain and downtown views.

Lewy and Miller aren’t the only notable names associated with the home; it was formerly owned by Hollywood restaurateur Ollie Hammond.

Dan Lackey and Karen Lower of Compass co-listed the property. Boni Bryant, also of Compass, represented Miller.

Lewy, who was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for his work on “Project Greenlight” in 2016, is also known for directing “Blue State (2007) and “California Solo” (2012).

Miller, 41, has produced and written for animated sitcoms such as “King of the Hill” and “American Dad!” His latest work, HBO’s “Tour de Pharmacy,” stars Andy Samberg, Orlando Bloom and John Cena.
