Spring is in the air in New York City, which means new-car smell is wafting around the city too, as it plays host to the 2012 New York Auto Show. Although some auto shows are long on wild concepts and far-off exotics, this year's New York show had a decidedly mainstream bent. Full-size offerings from Chevrolet and Toyota were paired with reasonable and eco-friendly luxury from Lincoln and Lexus. The wildest thing at the show? The all-new 640-horsepower Viper, courtesy of SRT (don't call them Dodge).
