BuzzFeed Motion Pictures, the Los Angeles-based video unit of the fast-growing digital media brand, is relocating its editorial team to Siren Studios in Hollywood.

The move reportedly comes after the company was unable to reach a deal to relocate to Shorenstein Properties’ Ford Motor Factory Building in the Arts District, according to the Los Angeles Business Journal.

BuzzFeed received a $200-million equity investment from NBCUniversal in August.

BuzzFeed Motion Picture’s team of over 200 employees is housed on a four-acre campus on the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Vine Street. Siren Studios is located nearby on Sunset and Gower Street.

BuzzFeed said the move to Siren is temporary and that it was still looking for a larger, permanent home in the L.A. area. The company also keeps offices in the Fairfax District and in Venice.
