  • Not many people know this, but Lululemon Athletica in Santa Monica holds mat classes every tuesday night from 7:30pm-8:30pm and every Sunday morning from 9:30am-8:30am... they are FREE! Amber Nimedez from Livefit Studio did a workshop there and it was great! I believe she is on the schedule to teach tuesday night mat classes starting in February. It's a great way to try out teachers in the area. http://www.lululemon.com/santamonica/santamonicablvd

Clients such as Jack Nicklaus, Junior Seau, and John Lynch credit THE EGOSCUE METHOD for much of their success and longevity in their sports. Whether you want to excel at your sport, or just look & feel better, you have to check out WWW.EGOSCUE.COM. It will change your life forever.

  • You should really check out GyrotonicLA.com and Barbara Schwarz, who is the owner and a Gyrotonic Master Teacher. Gyrotonic is a core-based expansion system that stretches and strengthens at the same time while articulating the joints. I am 53 years old and have grown 1/4" just from better posture attained through the Gyrotonic movement.

  • Livefit Studio is a small organization that is very up and coming... Both Amber and Stephanie are exercise therapists and the whole focus of the training is on alignment. Trainers these days will mention posture alignment, but never have I been so educated on how important it really is. Amber teaches an early morning workout class which is challenging and her teaching style is awesome. She's tough and direct, yet you can genuinely see how much she cares about your health. Both Amber and Steph do private session both are great, down to earth people- which is rare in the fitness industry. www.livefitstudio.com
