Tudor revived

A month before Laura and Sanford Michelman were to move into a home they’d extensively remodeled, they went to look at a Bel-Air Tudor that Colcord built in 1969. The house, with lots of built-in storage, leaded windows and cathedral ceilings accented by exposed beams, proved irresistible. “We fell in love with the house and decided not to let it go,” Laura Michelman says. The dining room, with its wood-beamed ceiling features a fireplace, at rear, with a mantel that is actually concrete molded to resemble wood.
